The focus of my arts practice is drawing. Using unconventional media such as found objects, paper collage, virtual reality, sound, bronze, string and pins, I make drawn installations and wall works that explore ideas of history, memory, movement, feeling and space.
Currently, I am doing a Research Masters with the Victorian College for the Arts, (VCA), Melbourne, investigating the visual nature of sound using binaural recordings, virtual reality and touch technology .
Since 2013, I worked in collaboration as Artists in Transit, with Ro Murray and Warren Armstrong, these collaborations have expanded my practice across the disciplines of architecture, virtual reality, sound, augmented reality, textiles and site responsive sculpture.
These drawing projects are often site-responsive, process driven and ephemeral in nature, with environmental themes.
They contribute to the formal concerns of drawing namely, colour line and structure.
